About Misha Ambrosia
I was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana and developed a keen interest in art at a very early age. On my ninth birthday, I began art classes with emphasis toward drawing, pastel, and oil painting. I work with many different mediums such as graphite, pen and ink, acrylics and pastel pencil; yet watercolor is my primary medium. I was awarded the 2014 Women of Achievement Award in Art granted by the Bowling Green Human Rights Commission. Besides being a full-time artist, I am a part-time contributor to SOKY Happenings Magazine where I reside as the artist in residence. I am also a founding member of ArtWorks: A Visual Arts Coalition; an art league of southern Kentucky professional artist. My studio is located in Alvaton, KY where I live with my wonderful hubby of 28 years and my four-legged companion and painting partner extraordinaire Boudreaux. RIP Picasso-my feline muse, you will always be sorely missed in the studio and in my heart....20years went by way too fast...
